Two of Hoërskool Ben Viljoen’s athletes, Jaco van der Westhuyzen and Marnu Hancke, have recently reached their peak in their respective athletics seasons. Both athletes have been selected for the Limpopo Senior Athletics Team, which will compete in the 2026 ASA Senior Athletics Championships, based on their excellent performances.
The championships will take place from 16 to 18 April at the Coetzenburg Stadium on the grounds of the University of Stellenbosch – a stage where South Africa’s best athletes compete annually.
These achievements are not only a personal milestone for the two athletes but also a source of great pride for the school and the wider community, which confirms the high standard of sports development at Hoërskool Ben Viljoen.
