Last week, Katinka Wessels and Livey van Blerk earned their district B+ netball referee rating. Their achievement shows their dedication and perseverance to netball. This past weekend, the second league event of the freshwater bank angling league for high schools took place at the Nile Biodiversity Dam in Mokopane. The competition once again proved that Hoërskool Ben Viljoen’s anglers are among the best, with excellent results across all our teams. On Monday, 13 April 2026, our A Golf team participated in the Bosveld Interhigh, held at the picturesque Koro Creek Golf Course near Nylstroom. The day held great promise, but challenging weather conditions soon took their toll. Congratulations to Mr Johan Vreugdenburg, who successfully obtained his B.Ed degree in Senior Phase and FET Education from the North-West University (NWU Pukke) on 14 April 2025. The Limpopo provincial hockey teams for the 2026 season were officially announced yesterday, and we are extremely proud of the nineteen players who have been included in the various teams. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication and perseverance that our hockey players show on the field.
