  • Matric Results 2025

In an uncertain and unstable period in history, the Class of 2025 walked through the gates of Hoërskool Ben Viljoen in 2021 as confused Grade 8 learners - armed with a mask, a bottle of sanitiser, and hearts full of questions. They entered a world that looked very different from the one they had been prepared for: the corridors were quieter, smiles were hidden, and distance became part of the new normal. Yet they walked on - brave, curious, and willing to adapt. That very first step already revealed the kind of matriculants they would one day become.

WE GROW ENTHUSIASTICALLY

Welcome to Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, a parallel medium school in the heart of the Loskop Valley. Here on our beautiful scenic terrain, immeasurable creativity, effective communication, countless extracurricular activities, and mind-building opportunities are offered to make every learner grow socially, spiritually, and emotionally.

Throughout history, education has always had two main goals: To help learners act wisely and to help them to be good - and character is necessary for both. To claim that we can have responsible citizenship and a civil society, without first building good character, is like believing that we can have trees without roots, or flowers without petals. We are very proud of our school and its rich tradition. At Ben Viljoen, we strive to prepare each child, in collaboration with the parent's home, academically, physically, mentally and psychologically for life after school. We are also proud to be able to boast a wide range of subjects, cultural and sports activities as well as various services offered at the school to make it comfortable for any learner to establish himself or herself at Ben Viljoen and get ready for life after school.

A MEDIUM SCHOOL WITH THE DYNAMICS OF A BIG SCHOOL

Schooling is no longer just a given. It is an investment in your child's future and you as a parent have the choice of which school will best meet your child's needs. With us, the learners, the staff, and the parents form the unique heartbeat of the school. Academics form the cornerstone of our school and your interests and needs are important to us.

THE FUTURE IS GREEN AND GOLD

We are very proud of our school and its rich tradition. Our mission is to give each learner the opportunity to reach his / her full potential, and in collaboration with the family home, academically, physically, mentally, and psychologically prepare the learner for life after school so that they can complete their studies after matric, and enter adulthood as full-fledged, well-rounded young adults.

This website appears as a mirror to the outside world showing what our school looks like. It displays life inside and outside the classroom in the areas of sports, academics, culture, and other forms of school life. Enjoy the journey with us and meet the learners, teachers and community involved in building a gem in Limpopo.

A VALUE DRIVEN SCHOOL!

RESPECT – RESPONSIBILITY – COMPASSION – INTEGRITY – LOYALTY

We believe that the pursuit of these values can better equip our teachers, students, and parents to be successful in our community as well as in society at large.

OUR WORK-OUR HONOUR

This includes the basic principles of education that serve as a foundation for Hoërskool Ben Viljoen. By practicing, living, and striving for it from day to day, the principal, staff, and learners envision the highest calling of life. We look forward to the future with confidence and call on everyone to stay true to our motto.
