We are incredibly proud of Omphile Tshikane, who participated in the South African 10 km Road Running Championships in Potchefstroom, North West, on Saturday, 17 October 2026, as a member of the Limpopo team.

Qualifying for these prestigious championships is no small achievement. The Road Running Commission selects only 37 athletes based on their performances at league events during 2025 and 2026. Omphile’s inclusion in the team is therefore a special recognition of his hard work, dedication and athletic ability.

The Limpopo team performed exceptionally well, securing an overall second place at the championships with a combined time of 2:13:34. This outstanding achievement reflects the athletes’ perseverance, teamwork and determination.

Congratulations on this incredible achievement! We are proud that you represented Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and Limpopo at national level. May this success inspire you to continue reaching greater heights in athletics.
