Our golf teams delivered outstanding performances during the third league event hosted at Marble Hall Golf Club.
Our A-team won the day, with Hoërskool Hans Strijdom finishing in second place. Henco Smith, who forms part of our A-team, enjoyed an excellent day on the course with an impressive score of 1 under par.
In the B-division, our B-team also emerged victorious, with Hoërskool Nylstroom finishing in second place.
A special highlight of the day was the performance of the Botha brothers. Marnus Botha (Grade 10) and his brother, Jovan Botha (Grade 8) , were among the top four players of the day, with excellent Stableford scores of 37 points each.
Our C-team also had a good day on the course and finished second.
Congratulations to Hoërskool Hans Strijdom on winning the individual division. LW Lourens from Hoërskool Hans Strijdom and our own Bernard van Blerk both recorded excellent scores of 38 Stableford points.
We would also like to thank Marble Hall Golf Club for the excellent hosting of the day. The course was in outstanding condition, and the hospitality and professionalism with which the event was presented were truly top class!
