The residents of Huis Cherié Girls’ Hostel recently held their annual corridor competition, where each grade transformed their respective corridors into vibrant displays of colour, creativity, and teamwork.
This much-anticipated tradition once again brought excitement and energy to the hostel, as every grade group embraced the challenge of decorating their corridor according to a unique theme. The aim of the competition was not only to showcase creativity but also to strengthen unity and collaboration among the learners.
Among all the entries, the Grade 11 learners stood out with their outstanding “yellow sunflower corridor”. Their corridor was a bright and cheerful display of sunflowers and golden tones, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. The consistency of their theme, combined with their creativity and teamwork, impressed the judges and set their display apart from the rest.
With great pride, the Grade 11 group was announced as the winners of this year’s corridor competition. Their effort, unity, and creativity not only earned them victory but also inspired the rest of the hostel community.
