The Gideons organisation visited Hoërskool Ben Viljoen yesterday and gave each Grade 8 learner a Pocket Bible. This special gift symbolises faith, hope, and guidance, which we trust will accompany our learners on their journey through life for years to come.
The presentation of these Bibles is a meaningful moment for our new Dallers. In a world full of challenges and important choices, we hope that this Bible will be a guide for each learner – a source of wisdom, direction and hope – so that their life puzzle will fall into place piece by piece.
At Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, we believe in not only promoting academic growth, but also nurturing character, values and faith. This gesture from the Gideons serves as a reminder that small acts of caring can have a large and lasting impact.
