We are incredibly proud of two of our dedicated staff members who were honoured as Top Performing Teachers in the Sekhukhune-South District at an awards ceremony held at Matshumane Secondary School in Glen Cowie on 8 October 2026.
Ms Anreléne Smit has once again proven that dedication, passion and excellence go hand in hand. She received the floating trophy for Top Performing Teacher in Tourism for the third consecutive quarter. This remarkable achievement is a testament to her consistent hard work, subject knowledge and passion for inspiring her learners and helping them reach their full potential.
Mr Thinus Marais was likewise recognised for his outstanding performance and received the floating trophy for Top Performing Teacher in Engineering Graphics and Design for Term 3. His dedication to his subject and commitment to quality education are invaluable assets to Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and our Daller family.
In addition to these outstanding teaching achievements, we are also incredibly proud of Jaun Roos, who was named the number 4 Grade 12 learner in the Sekhukhune-South District. This excellent academic achievement is a testament to hard work, perseverance and a commitment to academic excellence.
These accolades reflect the quality of teaching, the dedication of our staff and the hard work of our learners. It is through the combined efforts of dedicated teachers and motivated learners that Hoërskool Ben Viljoen continues to strive for excellence in all areas.
