On Wednesday morning, 23 September 2026, our 2027 Executive Council and their EC Guardians departed with great excitement to Ubhetyan-O-Africa for a few days of planning, team building and, of course, some quality time together.
The camp provided them with the perfect opportunity to step away from the usual school routine and grow closer together as a team. In between the planning sessions, they participated in various team-building activities that not only tested their ability to work together, but also resulted in plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments.
One of the highlights was undoubtedly the potjie competition, where the teams put their culinary skills – and creativity – to the test. With great team spirit and a little friendly competition, it was certainly an experience to remember.
There was also plenty of laughter, conversation and… very little sleep! But that is, after all, part of what makes a good camp a great camp.
It was a very successful and valuable camp, where this team could not only focus on their goals and planning for 2027, but also had the opportunity to get to know one another better and grow together as a team.
We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the facilitators at Ubhetyan-O-Africa for their hospitality, effort and professional guidance throughout the camp. You played an important role in making this camp a truly special experience.
