Our Dallers girls’ team performed exceptionally well and finished the league in an impressive overall first place. Our Ben Vissers boys’ team secured a strong fourth place at the final league event, while the Bennies finished the day in overall sixth place.

Our anglers also demonstrated their abilities through outstanding individual performances. In the heaviest bag category, Chene Swart claimed first place with an impressive 89.35 kg, while Jenna Berry secured third place with 70.95 kg. In the most fish category, Chene Swart once again took the lead with an excellent 49 fish, with Jenna Berry finishing in second place with 45 fish.

Chene’s exceptional performances throughout the competition were further recognised when she was named Victrix Ludorum. Both Jenna Berry and Marthinus Dreyer also performed exceptionally well, securing third place in their respective categories.

Following the three league events, both Ben Vissers and Dallers qualified to represent Limpopo at the Champion of Champions Tournament, which will take place at Bloemhof Dam in October.
