It is our great privilege to welcome Mr Coene Nolte and his wife, Ms Surné Nolte, to the Daller family as they join Hoërskool Ben Viljoen in the third term.
Mr Nolte will be teaching Technology, HSS (History and Social Sciences), and Life Orientation, while Ms Nolte will make her mark in both the mainstream and Uduxo classes, where she will teach subjects including Technology and HSS.
Mr Nolte brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our school. With more than 15 years of rugby coaching experience, he has established himself as one of the most respected school rugby coaches in Mpumalanga. His passion for the game, commitment to player development, and pursuit of excellence are reflected in his outstanding coaching record.
During his coaching career in Mpumalanga, Mr Nolte has achieved, among others, the following accomplishments:
* Pumas U/21 Currie Cup Coach (2024)
* Craven Week Coach (2016 and 2025)
* Pumas Grant Khomo Week Coach (2011 and 2015)
* Pumas Academy-A Coach (2024)
* Mpumalanga 15-a-side Champions (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2024)
* Mpumalanga Sevens Champions (2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2024)
* Makro Schools Beeld Trophy Finalist (2009, 2012, 2013, and 2015)
These remarkable achievements are a testament to his ability to develop players and teams to reach their full potential while achieving sustained success on the rugby field.
We are excited about the knowledge, experience, and passion that Mr Nolte brings to Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, and we look forward to the positive contribution he will make to our rugby programme and the wider school community.
