Exceptional achievements on the hockey field are measured not only by goals or victories, but also by perseverance, dedication, and the ability to consistently perform under pressure at the highest level. We are therefore incredibly proud of Remmogo Mokoena, who created a historic moment during the u/14 Interprovincial Tournament (IPT).
The tournament, held from 2 to 6 July 2026 at Parktown Boys’ High School, King Edward VII School, Jeppe High School, and St John’s College in Johannesburg, brought together South Africa’s top u/14 hockey players to represent their provinces.
Amid the fierce competition, Remmogo reached a remarkable milestone by becoming the only player in the Limpopo u/4 IPT team to play 100% of every minute of every match throughout the tournament. This exceptional achievement is a testament to her outstanding fitness, consistency, game intelligence, and the confidence her coaches placed in her.
Playing every minute of a demanding interprovincial tournament requires not only exceptional physical endurance but also mental resilience and an unwavering commitment to the team’s objectives. Remmogo’s achievement is a reflection of her hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport.
