Few achievements in schoolboy rugby carry as much prestige as representing your province at the iconic Craven Week. Each year, this tournament brings together South Africa’s finest u/18 rugby players, providing young talent with the opportunity to showcase their abilities on the country’s highest school rugby stage. Reaching this prestigious platform requires years of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering dedication.
We are therefore incredibly proud of Limni-Lu Heswick, Graham Rooza, and Leeroy Alexander, who represented the Limpopo Blue Bulls u/18 team at the Craven Week from 6 to 11 July 2026. This year’s tournament was hosted at Grey High School in Port Elizabeth, where the country’s strongest provincial teams went head-to-head in one of South Africa’s premier school rugby weeks.
The Limpopo Blue Bulls faced a tough challenge in their opening match against a strong Free State side, going down 66–41. On day three, they once again gave their all but were ultimately defeated by the Leopards, who claimed a 57–14 victory.
The team, however, demonstrated tremendous character and resilience by bouncing back strongly on the final day. In a thrilling and fiercely contested encounter, the Limpopo Blue Bulls defeated the Falcons 27–24 to finish the tournament on a high note.
Simply earning selection for Craven Week is an exceptional achievement that reflects outstanding talent, discipline, and sustained hard work. Limni-Lu, Graham, and Leeroy not only represented our province with pride but also flew the Daller flag high on one of South Africa’s greatest school rugby stages.
