Representing your province on the rugby field is an exceptional honour and a testament to hard work, perseverance, and talent. Hoërskool Ben Viljoen is therefore incredibly proud of Jivano Boois, who represented the Limpopo Blue Bulls u/16 team at the prestigious Doom Gouws Week.
The tournament took place from 29 June to 3 July 2026 at Hoërskool Nylstroom, bringing together some of the country’s most promising young rugby players. For every participant, the week provides an opportunity to compete at a high level, gain valuable experience, and test their abilities against top-quality opposition.
The Limpopo Blue Bulls opened their campaign against the Pumas on the first day, putting up a determined fight before going down 15–29. On the second day, they faced the Leopards and, despite their resilience, suffered an 08–36 defeat. The team showed tremendous character and determination to finish the tournament on a high note, defeating the Griffons 19–12 on the final day.
Jivano’s selection for the Limpopo Blue Bulls and his participation in this prestigious rugby week are a reflection of his dedication, talent, and hard work. Experiences like these not only contribute to his growth as a rugby player but also create opportunities for him to be recognised at even higher levels of the game.
Congratulations, Jivano! We look forward to watching your rugby journey grow.
