We are incredibly privileged to announce that four of our Dallers will soon have the opportunity to cross South Africa’s borders and pursue their love of hockey on international soil!
Mieke du Toit, one of our Grade 9 learners, departs on 25 September for her international hockey tour and will be on tour until 5 October.
As part of her tour, Mieke will attend a focused hockey clinic at Royal Antwerp Hockey Club (RAHC) in Belgium. Thereafter, she and her team will have the opportunity to play matches against HC Diemen, HC Naarden and Royal Uccle. This experience will allow Mieke to test her skills against international opponents and further develop her game.
Monya van Niekerk, Suné Lessing and Jaydéne Cloete depart on 28 September and will be on tour until 6 October. Their matches will take place at the Stichtsche Cricket & Hockey Club (SCHC) in Bilthoven, the Netherlands, providing them with a unique opportunity to embrace new challenges, sharpen their skills and gain valuable experience outside South Africa.
An international sports tour is about so much more than just matches. It is an opportunity to meet new people, experience different playing styles, grow as players and create memories that will remain part of their sporting journey for years to come.
We wish Mieke, Monya, Suné and Jaydéne a safe journey and an unforgettable European hockey adventure! May you make the most of this special opportunity, gain valuable experience and cherish every moment. Carry the Daller spirit with pride wherever you play!
