With World Cleanup Day, which took place on 20 September 2026, people around the world were reminded of the importance of keeping our environment clean, neat and welcoming.
At Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, our ATKV Youth Branch took the opportunity to express a special word of thanks to our general workers.
Every day, often without receiving the recognition they deserve, our general workers work hard to keep our school grounds clean, neat and pleasant for our Dallers and staff. From early in the morning, they are busy caring for the school grounds and ensuring that our school remains the proud place that it is.
Today, the ATKV Youth Branch thanked them with a small gesture of appreciation for the hard work, dedication and service they provide every day.
We believe that appreciation should not only be expressed on special occasions. Our general workers are an important part of the Daller family, and we appreciate the role each of them plays in making Hoërskool Ben Viljoen a place of which we can all be proud.
Thank you for everything you do every day! Your hard work makes a difference, and we appreciate you more than words can say.
