Kiara du Toit, one of our talented Grade 11 learners, fully demonstrated her creativity and leadership during this year's ATKV DigiToneel competition. She received a bronze accolade for her excellent directing of the production Rapsodie tussen die Rakke.
This production, written by Inamari and starring Lehani Benade, tells the story of a sixteen-year-old girl who finds herself among the silent shelves of a library, where she begins to express her inner world through rapping. Kiara’s ability to interpret the text and clearly convey her vision to her team has distinguished her as a promising young director.
This achievement is not only a testament to Kiara’s talent, but also to her hard work, dedication and passion. To receive recognition at this level is a remarkable milestone and speaks volumes about her potential in the theatre world.
