This past weekend, the Hoërskool Ben Viljoen girls’ hockey teams showed their mettle when they faced off against Hoërskool Ben Vorster in Tzaneen. It was a day of exciting play, determination and teamwork, with excellent results overall.
The u/14 team put in a strong performance, drawing the game 1–1, while the u/15 team also showed good defense and discipline in their 0–0 draw. However, the u/16 team stood out with a dominant performance and achieved an impressive 6–1 victory. The second team continued the momentum with a well-deserved 3–1 victory, and the first team ended the day on a high note with a 2–0 victory.
These results are a testament to the hard work, dedication and growth of the hockey program at Hoërskool Ben Viljoen.
