The Grade 8 Hostel Representative Council (HRC) was officially announced this morning during the hall period. For our Grade 8 learners, this marks an important milestone. Not only does it allow them to step into leadership roles early on, but it also encourages them to make positive contributions to the hostels.
Congratulations to Estelle Myburg, who was elected to the HRC of Huis Cherié Girls’ Hostel. Her appointment is a testament to her enthusiasm, responsibility and the trust that her fellow learners and educators place in her.
We also congratulate Tetelo Dikotope on his election to the HRC of Boomhuis Boys’ Hostel. This achievement is a testament to his leadership ability and his willingness to make a difference in the hostel community.
May both of you fill these new roles with pride, integrity and dedication, and have a positive influence on your fellow hostel residents. We look forward to the valuable contributions that you will make.
