Two of our marksmen participated in the Interprovincial Trials in Newcastle on 27 and 28 February 2026. Marksmen from KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga competed against each other during this competition to test their skills and possibly be selected for further national trials.
One of our marksmen, Ané Pretorius, performed exceptionally well during the trials and was invited to participate in the SANSSU Top 80 trials. This prestigious competition will take place in Vryheid from 16 to 18 April 2026.
After the SANSSU Top 80 trials, the South African Schools Bisley Team will be selected to compete in England during August 2026.
The results of our marksmen in the u/21 division were as follows:
Ané Pretorius – 1391 out of 1600
Caylin Sadie – 1376 out of 1600
We are proud of the achievements of these two marksmen and especially wish Ané Pretorius all the best with the upcoming SANSSU Top 80 trials.
