Following the recent Governing Body interim election, we would like to congratulate Mr Arnold van der Walt and Ms Elmarie Lessing on their election to the SGB. Freshwater Bank Angling is more than just water, hooks and bait. It is a sport where you test your patience, hone your skills and sometimes surprise yourself with what you achieve. It is precisely this spirit of perseverance and sportsmanship that was clearly visible during the first league meeting of the 2026 Limpopo Schools Freshwater Bank Angling. On Friday, 13 March 2026, the official inauguration of our first netball team took place at the elegant Familia Guesthouse. This past weekend, Hoërskool Ben Viljoen’s sports teams travelled to Standerton, where they faced Hoërskool Standerton in the second round of the NWU Schools Sports Series. It was an exciting day full of sporting action in which rugby, netball and hockey players gave their best and showed excellent spirit and teamwork. Congratulations to our three athletes who have qualified to compete in the South African Athletics Championships from 26 to March 2026. This year, the championships will be held in Germiston.
