Our cross-country athletes participated in the Interhigh Cross-Country Meeting in Ellisras on Monday, 9 March 2026, and performed excellently against strong competition from surrounding schools.
Our junior girls’ team and senior boys’ team performed exceptionally well, and both teams achieved second places in their respective divisions. This achievement testifies to hard work, perseverance and good teamwork.
Individually, our athletes also stood out. Omphile Tshikane ran an excellent race and took overall first place. Shiniska du Plessis also performed impressively by achieving overall third place.
Congratulations to all our cross-country athletes on these excellent achievements. Your hard work and dedication are definitely paying off, and we are proud of the way you represent Hoërskool Ben Viljoen.
