A dream that has lived in the hearts of many Dallers for years is becoming a reality right before our eyes. Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and Die Uile are proud to be part of a project that will not only be a new astro hockey field on the Hoërskool Ben Viljoen terrain but also establish a lasting legacy for future hockey players.
Since the ground works officially began on 31 March 2026, the development of this astro hockey field has shown remarkable progress. What was once just a vision shared by dedicated supporters, alumni, parents and the school community is now taking shape day by day.
Each new phase of the construction work brings the dream closer to completion and reminds us of what is possible when a community works together for a greater purpose.
For current learners, alumni and supporters, this project is a source of pride. It will not only raise the standard of hockey at Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, but also create new opportunities for training, competition and growth. The field will serve as a space where memories can be created, friendships built, and sporting dreams can be pursued.
