At Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, learners are encouraged to be actively involved in the school’s various activities, culture, sport, and academics. This involvement is rewarded with a special pin system, in which learners receive a pin once they earn 25 or more positive points during the year.
Throughout the year, learners can earn points in various areas to qualify for these achievement pins, with pin colours varying based on the number of points earned. Learners are also encouraged to take responsibility for their behaviour, as one positive point is deducted for every ten disciplinary points received.
Congratulations to Katinka Wessels, who qualified for her white pin during May. She earned 50 points for her involvement, participation, and academic achievement. Katinka’s hard work and dedication are an excellent example of how participation and a positive attitude are rewarded.
At Hoërskool Ben Viljoen, we are committed to fostering happiness and success through active involvement and participation. We celebrate each learner’s achievements and believe that their engagement lays a strong foundation for future accomplishments.
