MORE ABOUT BISLEY:
Three cards are shot on the first day, consisting of a lying, standing and kneeling position. The second day, two cards are shot in a standing position which are known as an Olympiad. The first card is shot in a 30 minutes time frame while the second card is shot in a 25 minutes time frame. Each card counts 200 points which means that the total point at the end of the competition counts out of 1000 points.
This year, Afrikaans.com collaborated with the well-known musician Anton Goosen and the artist Elsie Jooste for the first "Skilder met Woorde" competition in which school learners were encouraged to paint one of Anton Goosen's songs.
