Congratulations to Kabous de Wet, class of 2021, whose two poems, 'Vir Cisca' as well as 'Eenvoudige tienergebed' were selected by the Society for the Preservation of Afrikaans (Genootskap vir die Handhawing van Afrikaans/GHA) to be published in the 2022 anthology of poems, 'Stemme uit die Suiderland' XVI. word.
It's always difficult to say goodbye, but as Jonathan Lockwood Huie said: "Celebrate every end, it's the forerunner of a new beginning". And as Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "Every thing has its appointed time" and this time to say "goodbye" has now arrived.

The footprints or shoeprints left by the Matrics of 2021 were different and inspiring. In the challenging time in which we live, the matriculants of 2021 pursued their dreams and yesterday the majority of them completed their final exam paper. There are now only a few subjects left for the learners before they enter the grown-up world.

Hoërskool Ben Viljoen kicked off 2021 with a vision: to renovate the already established school in the heart of the Loskop Valley so that Ben Viljoen can truly continue to fulfill his place in society as a school of excellence in all areas.
The Ambassadors' Council of 2022 together with the RCL of 2021 launched a fundraising project for the less privileged people in the community during the fourth quarter of 2021.
