We are incredibly proud to announce that Marnu Hancke, one of our current Grade 11 learners, has been selected for the South African team that will compete at the AUSC Region 5 Games in Maputo, Mozambique, from 4 to 13 December 2026.
This remarkable achievement is another highlight in Marnu’s impressive sporting career and is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent in athletics.
Marnu’s selection for the South African team follows his successful performance at the South African Championships, where he won the gold medal in the u/18 discus event. His outstanding performance at national level ultimately led to his selection for the South African team.
We are incredibly proud of Marnu and the way in which he not only represents himself, but also our school and the Daller community at the highest level.
We wish Marnu the very best as he prepares for this exciting opportunity to represent South Africa at the AUSC Region 5 Games. We have no doubt that he will give his all and proudly carry the green and gold onto the international stage!
