We are proud to announce that Jac-Johan Gouws was named captain of the Limpopo u/18 Academy Week team last night during the inauguration of the provincial rugby teams. This inauguration ceremony, which took place at Hoërskool Pietersburg, brought together players, coaches and parents to honour the province’s top young rugby talent for the upcoming provincial weeks.
This appointment acknowledges Jac-Johan’s consistent hard work, commitment, and ability to lead by example both on and off the rugby field. His selection as captain of the provincial team reflects the high regard in which he is held by his teammates and coaches, while also recognising the positive example he sets through his conduct, determination, and performances on the field.
Jac-Johan has consistently proven himself to be a quality player who is willing to accept responsibility and inspire his team. His appointment as captain is not only a personal achievement but also a great honour for Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and the Daller community.
We wish all our provincial players all the best for the various tournaments ahead. May all the preparation and matches be an unforgettable experience for you.
