Hoërskool Ben Viljoen’s u/16 boys’ hockey team delivered an outstanding performance on Friday, 29 May 2026, when they faced HTS Tom Naudé on the Tommies’ home field in Polokwane.
From the opening whistle, the Dallers displayed determination, discipline and excellent teamwork. Their ability to work together, maintain possession and apply pressure throughout the match allowed them to take control of the game.
Their efforts were rewarded with three well-earned goals, while the defensive unit remained solid and organised throughout the encounter. The Ben Viljoen defence stood firm, preventing the hosts from finding the back of the net.
When the final whistle sounded, Hoërskool Ben Viljoen emerged as convincing 3–0 winners, a result that reflects the team’s hard work, commitment and continued development throughout the season.
