From 1 to 8 October 2025, our first cricket team toured to Hoërskool Die Punt in Mossel Bay for their annual Cricket Festival, which kicked off on 3 October and was attended by 22 schools from across the country. This Cricket Festival provided the Dallers with valuable match experience and team-building opportunities.
The first match of this festival was played on 4 October, where the Dallers performed excellently against Glenwood House and won the match by 107 runs. They continued the momentum on the second day, where they won against Hoër Landbouskool Oakdale’s B team by 8 wickets.
After a well-deserved rest day, the team took to the field again for their last match of the festival against Daniel Pienaar Technical High School from Uitenhage. Despite a valiant effort and strong team effort, the Dallers had to bow the knee this time.
However, the tour was a great success, with players not only improving their skills on the field but also growing as a team. The experience will certainly contribute to a promising season for Daller cricket in 2026.
